Stuck without net…

Well, as you may have guessed, I have lost internet access. MY pc is still hovering on the brink of destruction, but so far I can work on it.

If anyone can help pay me my late fees (my day job doesn’t start UNTIL they’re due and by that time I’ll be slapped with a 300$ fine on top of the late 50$), here’s my paypal: saturn 1 [at] go2.pl

Also, my webcomic Carnivore Carnival (link on the left side of this page) got featured on Drunkduck! Yay me!

I’m busy cranking out pages (soon to have 26 new pages to upload) .

The 44th post…

Why is it so important? Because it is twice as much posts in less than three months than I did on my first blog in nine months!

Since my second blog had 40 posts (plus the additional 22 copied from the first one), I have sort of beat that one too.

Wait… if it’s so important, why am I wasting it on this message? Heh. Typical me.

Partially back in business…

Well, the electrical installation is still not fully finished, but at least I still have it in my room, so might as well declare a partial return to normality.

Nothing new to show, I’ve spent the time doing mostly practice drawing and brainstorming various ideas. Hope to change it soon, I need to build up my buffer for Carnivore Carnival.

Not sure what I’ll be posting about due to the lack of new art, we’ll see.

In other news, I might have a day job soon (hopefully) which will mean I’ll get to upgrade my pc. That might mean I’ll be able to return to working on my music and (also hopefully) on various videos for that music.

Sort of a break…

Well, things sure aren’t going the way I planned them. So first, an announcement:

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be offline for a yet unspecified lenght of time. The reason behind it is simple: the electrical installation in our flat needs to be torn out entirely and replaced (or at least parts of it need to be), thus I’ll be without any electricity for at least a couple of days. Perhaps weeks. Hopefully below a month.

Well, what does that mean for Carnivore Carnival? There are still four pages of Conception and Definition in the  buffer. After that, there’s a 2-page story Until Death Do Us Part, followed by a 3-pager, The Town at the End of the World. That means the webcomic will update without any interruptions (any possible drunkduck server related problems aside) until the end of March. Within that month I’ll try to get some heavy pencilling done, so that I can unveil some NEW stuff once I’m back online.

SO KEEP ON READING!

No new art for a while…

Due to technical problems (mostly with my monitor being a total piece of shit and deciding it is time to enter its terminal phase) I am unfortunately unable to post any new art for the time being. This could take a week to solve or perhaps two, who knows. I’ll try to be back with new art as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, I guess, I’ll be doing more text based posts, assuming I can come up with interesting topics.

We're open!

Ah, the grand opening and the first introductory post. And as with any introduction, I’m stumped on how to write it. I guess I’ll just ramble on for a bit and shut up.

Hello!

My name’s Aurora Borealis (yes, it’s a pen name. No, I don’t like to use my real name. You wouldn’t be able to pronounce the last name correctly anyway) and I’ve been making things since I can remember. That mostly involved drawing random stuff, writing short stories and stringing sounds together to form something called ‘music’.

And this is what this site is also about. Me and my creations.  A simple place where I can post progress on my works as it happens, show off  samples, link to my webcomics, and endlessly spam with “please buy this so I can buy some breakfast tomorrow” kind of links.

The future will probably bring some changes (I’m not quite happy with the gallery yet) and hopefully a lot of updates on content. That is all for now.

Look out for more stuff in the future!
